Springbrook Hills Walloon Lake, MI
Home
Welcome to SPRINGBROOK HILLS, located in the heart of Walloon Lake in Boyne City.

These privately-owned vacation homes are available for rent year-round.

Homes vary in size, from between two to five bedrooms, and all contain fully-equipped kitchens. Each house has its own unique and charming interior amenities, such as fireplace and recreation room. Most have outdoor decks which command spectacular views of Springbrook Valley, Challenge Mountain, and unparalleled sunsets.

The magnificent Masters House is the "jewel in the crown." Built at the turn of the last century, this classic, elegant home contains six bedrooms and three full baths. It sleeps up to twelve - but visitors may reserve any accommodation within: either a single room or two, or vacationers may rent the home in its entirety.

The community of Springbrook Hills is but a short walk to the public beach and to Walloon Lake village, where there is both marina and general store.

Springbrook Valley itself is surrounded by thousands of acres of Michigan state forest land, which ensure ideal conditions for a variety of outdoor activities and sports almost too extensive to enumerate.

Avid outdoor sportsmen will enjoy both small game and white-tail deer hunting. Fishermen will thrill to the abundant waters of Springbrook Creek and Bear River - both natural habitats for Lake Trout. Nearby Sturgeon River is considered to be one of Michigan's "blue ribbon" trout streams. These, and other nearby inland lakes, also make for terrific boating, canoeing and kayaking. Or charter a sailboat to enjoy the day out on the Boyne or Jordan River. Springbrook Hills property management will arrange boat rentals to suit any and all needs.

In the spring and summer, nature walks, birding, wild-flower trails, and a modest, spring-fed lake - ideal for both fishing and swimming - provide hours of leisure. So does adjacent 18-hole golf course. From its on-site bar and restaurant, visitors are once again mesmerized by the striking panorama of Springbrook Valley.

Cap off the day with a swim in olympic-size, heated out-door pool or indulge in one of many invigorating group games sponsored/available on the property's special green-belt area.

Michigan is famous for its winter wonderland: the skiing is some of the best in the country. Vacationers to Springbrook Hills will find marked and groomed snowmobile trails accessible directly from their front doors; miles upon miles of trails fan out in all directions. Property management will assist residents who would like to rent snow-mobiles.

Cross-country skiing, and even snow-shoeing, are also popular. They are sometimes the best ways to get from here-to-there, given the abundant snowfalls in Michigan's north country.

Springbrook Hills is short, 20-minute drive to nearby cities of Boyne, Gaylord, and Petoskey, and appx 30 minutes from East Jordan and Charlevoix. Each of these lovely villages contains unique specialty shops, arts and crafts boutiques, fine dining, and plenty of nightlife - all along pedestrian walkways.

Rates depend on number of people, availability and season. Couples may spend as little as $70 per night for accommodation; larger homes, which sleep up to 18-20 (hunting or fishing party; three or more families, for instance) rent for appx. $500 per night, with a steal-of-a-deal at $1400 per week.
